Learning to drive in Springwood
Springwood, about 22 km south-east of the Brisbane CBD, is a good suburb to learn in because it has a bit of everything close together. There are quiet residential streets around the parks and bushland for your first drives, busier local roads such as Springwood Road, Dennis Road and Compton Road, and the Pacific Motorway running right beside the suburb for when you're ready to merge at speed.
School zones are part of daily driving here too, with Springwood Central State School and Calvary Christian College on Dennis Road, Chatswood Hills State School on Raleigh Street and Springwood State High School on Springwood Road. We'll make sure you're confident with school zone times and speeds before your test.
Lessons for every stage
- Learner driver lessons from your first drive
- Test preparation and car hire for test day
- Refresher lessons if you have a licence but haven't driven for a while
