The Mount Lindesay Highway forms the suburb's western boundary, which gives you a chance to practise higher-speed driving and merging once you're ready. For first lessons, the residential streets around the local parks are calmer places to get comfortable behind the wheel.
You'll also learn to handle school zones around Browns Plains State School on Mayfair Drive and Browns Plains State High School on Ivor Street.
